This two hour session gives participants an overview of the card processing industry, with a focus on how a card transaction starts out and its downstream processing. The session will cover topics including

Card processing terminology
Credit card networks
Debit card processing -- Signature, PIN and the significant differences between
Authorization and settlement processes
Risk mitigation tools -- CVV/CVC, 3D Secure, AVS
Introduction to gift cards and stored value cards
